Hello,
I would like to request to join DEI SIG.

I have been helping out for a bit over a year.
I engage with informal mentoring, regional development, and attend meetings.

My personal interests in DEI are particularly around regional development, supporting and expanding diversity and ensuring minority viewpoints are presented and heard.

Mat is a great person with a thoughtful and grounded perspective on different topics, including DEI matters.
I believe having his presence in the team would be a genuine asset.
