Contributor Video Series and Footage Request: Madeline Peck proposed an initiative to place an open call on Fedora Discussions to gather horizontal video footage from past Fedora events to improve the contributor video series. Madeline Peck noted that while current clips utilized stock footage, using event footage would be more engaging. The team discussed whether Jess had recorded any relevant material while at Flock, and Madeline Peck took the responsibility of posting the call for footage to the community.

Design Review of the Datagrepper Icon: Madeline Peck and Nik reviewed the current design iteration for the Datagrepper interface icon. Madeline Peck critiqued the design as being too visually busy, noting that the "hay bale" imagery was not easily identifiable even at larger sizes. Madeline recommended that Nick move away from complex line art and instead utilize color blocks and two shades of yellow to provide necessary dimension and clarity to the design. Madeline Peck committed to further refining the Inkscape file, while Justin Wheeler agreed to contact Michael and the data working group to inform them that the team is actively working on the icon.

Flock YouTube Thumbnail Automation: The team discussed the need to streamline the creation of YouTube thumbnails for individual Flock talks. Justin Wheeler explained that a script written by Adrian already exists to extract talk data from pre-talks into a CSV format. The team identified the need to coordinate with Akashdeep—whose username is "t0xic0der"—to verify the current status of the script and its compatibility with the 2026 schedule. Madeline Peck and Justin Wheeler planned to follow up on the ticket and via the Matrix chat to resolve the thumbnail generation process.
