When using multiple repositories, it is often useful to blacklist problematic packages, or to whitelist packages to be allowed from a particular repo. This functionality is provided by the 'includepkgs' and 'exclude' options within a repository directive.

For example, one could whitelist packages from updates-testing that they use regularly and want to participating testing for, without bringing all testing packages in when updating.

I think it would be helpful to users to document these features in section 4.3.2. Setting [repository] Options: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora/latest/system-administrators-guide/package-management/DNF/#sec-Setting_repository_Options

The issue here is, that we deprecated the Administrators Guide a while ago. We had come to the conclusion that the guide could no longer be updated in its current form. Instead, the parts that can still be saved will be moved to a separate section as independent "tools". At the same time, the (rigid) navigation system is to be replaced by categories and tags.

Someone had started a DNF part, but didn't follow through.

I could and would be willing to transfer the existing DNF part. Would you then carry out a intensive review so that the part will get really usable? Otherwise, the work makes no sense to me. We already have enough unfinished business lying around. :-)
