This page would benefit from documentation of the way that the system time is stored, and how this changes based on whether a Windows partition is detected during installation.
I was encountering an issue on my system where the time would be set 11 hours into the future after a reboot. This was especially confusing, as I have configured Windows to store the system time in UTC (as per this article) so that I could avoid this issue.
Funnily enough, I found the solution in the Arch Wiki, where it states that Fedora's installer configures the system to use local time instead of UTC on the hardware clock if a Windows installation is detected. This is a sensible default, but it would be very helpful to users who encounter issues with this if it is documented in the Fedora docs.
The problem is: The System Administrator's Guide is outdated and no longer maintained. The plan is to replace it by Fedora Tools (https://docs.stg.fedoraproject.org/en-US/tools/). But we are out of resources for now. We will open a new discussion about the topic on discussion, soon.
