=== Using a scanner
Fedora uses the http://www.sane-project.org/[SANE^] backend for scanning.
Before using your scanner, locate it on the http://www.sane-project.org/sane-supported-devices.html[Supported Devices^] page of the SANE project.
If the scanner is supported, attach it to your computer and switch it on.
Fedora will display a short notification if it is detected.
The SANE project has a partial list of http://www.sane-project.org/sane-supported-devices.html[Supported Devices^].
However, even if your device is not listed there, it may well be supported.
If in doubt, give it a try!
To scan, open the Skanpage app from the application menu.
