I was advising someone on ask.fp.o regarding custom installations and went to this page https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora/f36/install-guide/advanced/Kickstart_Installations/ because this is the link to using kickstart that is the most recent and up to date in Fedora documentation. The link at the top of this page notes there is a newer release of Fedora and provides a link to the new release user documentation, but nothing there exists about kickstart, even in the administrator guide, where it likely should be. I suspect this is the case for other topics that aren't always updated with each release, like the mentioned kickstart documentation because well kickstart files haven't changed a whole lot throughout the releases. This to me points to the always present problem with doc's for Fedora, often a topic should really not be tied to a release, but is.

There is a kind of successor documentation in development in the Fedora Server Edition documentation. However, work on it has stalled due to a lack of resources.

And we are planing to include it in this part of fedora documentation, too. But again, work on it has stalled due to a lack of resources.

We have withdrawn the Installation Guide with F37 and removed it from the documentation. The problem is that the texts are still available for older releases due to our versioning of the documentation and can be found via search engines. And the reference to newer releases is made via an automated script. There is a kind of [successor documentation in development](https://docs.stg.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-server/installation/automatic-local/) in the Fedora Server Edition documentation.
