Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Currently all pages are in different locations. There is no central repo to place pages on "general atomic desktop issues" in.
as a user myself, I would highly appreciate guidance on how to create such a chapter, and would like to add some pages.

I guess this is the wrong place to discuss this. The responsibility (i.e. the work) for this is with the Atomic Desktop team(s). They need to either create a new repository that we can link to here, or use Antora's "partials" to create such a documentation only once and then use it in the various documentations for the individual Atomic Desktops.
