Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
We should get a matrix bot set up that would send a message to the Fedora Docs channel if anyone creates a repository under the docs/ group here on Forgejo.
On top of that we might want some other types of notifications, something like:
#docs-teamtag on DiscourseWe need to be careful to not overdo it, though, I don't want the channel spammed by notifications constantly.
In case you didn't already see it: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/forge-documentation/matrix_notifications/
@pbokoc I had the necessary permissions to invite
nonbotinto the Fedora Docs Team repository. I added a webhook for the entire Docs organization for new repositories, new releases, new wiki edits, new issues, and new pull requests. We can see how noisy this is. I did not enable comments globally for the entire organization.I did select many more webhook notifications for this repository, since it is a more active hub for the Docs Team.
We can make additional tweaks later, but since this is done, I am going to close the ticket as complete! 🌊
