Both are out of date to latest upstream releases, and EPEL branches most likely will need some updates too.

Current progress on this task:

Was able to update cef to version 151.0.11^chromium151.0.7922.173 and it works on obs 32.2.2. Some notes on the progress:

  • Updated cef to the 7922 branch (XXX commit)
  • Cherrypicked 53 patches from the chromium package...
  • Current version of obs (32.1.1) crashes with the cef update
  • New version of obs (32.2.2) works fine with the cef update, will need to push both updates toguether.
  • Some of Fedora's downstream patches broke with the update. Fixing in progress...

TODO:

  • Create cef PR
  • Fix OBS patches
  • Create obs PR
  • Update package.
  • Check if EPEL versions can get update.
