EPEL 10.1 will stop being targeted by the current RHEL latest minor release, and should be archived. We do this in two stages, this issue is for the first stage.

  • update epel-release-latest symlink (new-updates-sync doesn't do it yet)
  • stage epel/10.1 to archive (reference)

We previously agreed within the team that we'll follow Fedora's example and have a two week period between retirement and actually archiving the files (#9 (comment)). That means finalizing this will need to wait until the next sprint, so I moved the last two tasks to #105.
