Hi there,
Could we please have some help in migrating the Neuro-sig pagure repos here (if that's allowed---or should we move to GitHub/GitLab)?
Desired organisation name (Short name):
neuro-sig
Full name of the organisation:
Fedora Neuroscience SIG (NeuroFedora)
Description:
The Neuro-SIG is a set of Fedora package maintainers that focus on making neuroscience related software usable on Fedora.
Website URL:
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/neurofedora/overview/
Avatar/Logo:
Attached
Fedora accounts group for organisation owners/admins:
neuro-sig-owners
Fedora accounts group for organisation members:
neuro-sig-members
Repositories entailed:
https://pagure.io/neuro-sig/NeuroFedora
https://pagure.io/neuro-sig/documentation
Upstream ticket:
https://pagure.io/neuro-sig/NeuroFedora/issue/585
The namespace and the associated teams (for owners and members) have been created.
I have also opened a pull request to perform the team and group mappings.
@ryanlerch, could you please create a
forge-neuro-sig-ownersgroup with the sponsors from this FAS group as both sponsors and members? Also, please create aforge-neuro-sig-membersgroup with the aforementioned folks as sponsors there and the members of the aforementioned FAS group as members. Thanks!Following the naming convention we have for SIGs, we do not include the
sigterm (Get it?) in the namespace and in the groups. Hence, the updated namespace would be called simplyneuroand the groups would be calledforge-neuro-ownersandforge-neuro-membersrespectively. I have also gone ahead with updating the pull request to reflect the same.Created:
@ryanlerch, hope you mean the neuro-sig group ;P
@ankursinha, try logging out and logging back in for the mapping to take effect. Please go ahead with migrating your repositories from Pagure and feel free to let us know if there is anything else that we could help you with. Closing this as fixed.
Hi @t0xic0der : thanks for that. I've logged out an into forge, but not seeing myself in the neuro-sig namespace yet:
https://forge.fedoraproject.org/neuro-sig|
(you're the only one there at the mo :P)
I think I know why. I renamed the
neuro-signamespace to justneuro, now against which the mapping has been done as mentioned above. Maybe try logging and logging back in now and see if it works, but if it does not then maybe, @ryanlerch will have to re-run that mapping playbook again. We will wait for your approval before going ahead with changing the ticket's state.Logged out and back in, but still no luck. Only in the "join" org.
Works now, closing. Thanks all :)
