Summary
The following was initially requested on infra/tickets#13429.
Details
For quite some time now the
bootcproject is governed by CNCF. We didn't take this into account when we requested the org a couple of months ago. Is it possible to rename the org and the corresponding FAS groups toatomicto match the prod org?Below are the links to the FAS groups and the org:
https://forge.stg.fedoraproject.org/bootc
https://accounts.stg.fedoraproject.org/group/forge-bootc-owners/
Thanks!
Would it be helpful to reuse https://accounts.fedoraproject.org/group/atomic/ ?
The group you mentioned is for the production instance, while this request is for the staging instance.
This has been completed. The
bootcorg on staging has been renamed to atomic — Forge automatically provides a redirect from the oldbootcURL.The forge-atomic-owners and forge-atomic-members groups have been created on Fedora Accounts Staging, and the group-team-map has been updated to match production.
For forge-atomic-owners, @cverna is set as a sponsor, with @siosm and @cverna as members. @walters and @nimbinatus don't appear to have Fedora Accounts Staging accounts, so they could not be added. For forge-atomic-members, it inherits sponsors from
-owners, and @siosm, @cverna, and @hricky are added as members. If you need owner permissions on the staging org, @cverna can add you to the forge-atomic-owners group on Fedora Accounts Staging since they are a sponsor. Any further members can also be added by a sponsor there.
Members of the new groups will need to log out and log back in to Staging Forge for the team membership to take effect.
