In Pagure.io, @ mentioning a user (e.g., @gotmax23) automatically subscribed them to all future comments in the issue. This behavior would be good to restore in Fedora Forge. Currently, @ mentioning a user only notifies them of the single comment they were mentioned in. We relied on the old behavior in FESCo tickets so we could subscribe Change owners to Change tickets automatically by @ mentioning them in the issue description.

@gotmax23, I have not explored the codebase pertaining to this part yet, but is this not something that we should send upstream? Or do they actually support it already and it needs to be enabled here in Fedora Forge with the configuration changes?

Hi, I'm not sure. We might need to report this upstream.
