Description/Summary:

The idea behind this page is that it is an addition to being able to get announcement
and other vital information to the end user.

That page could be added to planet fedora

A bookmark for that page be added to Fedora Project bookmarks in web browser we ship.

The end user could subscribe to it using the various rss atom feed subscribe apps out there

An *DE application could be created to fetch an rss or an atom feed of that page
and that feed be displayed to the end user via notification bubble or some other useful means

Project plan (Detailed):

See if we can use any of the existing infrastructure that can provide a web page and or generate a web page or an rss atom feed out of the announcemnt email(s) ( see for example http://taint.org/mmrss/ )

Then add a bookmark to the various browser that we ship and add that page to the feed list on planet fedora

Create an application in various *DE that we ship that can fetch an rss or atom feed of that page and display it to the end user.

Is it possible to get an WP instance running with http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/qtranslate/ plugin that is if we want to start delivering these announcement on other languages than English
And display that announcement wp instance on the planet.

We need to deliver the rss feed first before a work can be started to on gui app to fetch it.
