Description of request

Hello,
We would like to request Tier 1 mirror status for our server.

Current status:
We are an established Tier 2 mirror registered in MirrorManager, carrying both fedora-enchilada and fedora-epel modules in full (no excludes, no filters). We currently sync hourly from ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de (existing Tier 1 mirror).

Mirror details:

  • Hostname: mirror.raiolanetworks.com
  • Location: Madrid, Spain
  • Sponsor: Raiola Networks (https://raiolanetworks.com)
  • Contact: mirrors@raiolanetworks.es
  • Bandwidth: 10 Gbps dedicated
  • IPv4: 91.132.103.246
  • IPv6: 2a12:d282:102:f6::1
  • Storage: ZFS pool, dedicated to mirror content

Services:

Content mirrored:

  • fedora-enchilada — full, no excludes
  • fedora-epel — full, no excludes

Why Tier 1:

  • There is currently no Tier 1 mirror in Spain or the Iberian Peninsula
  • We have 10 Gbps bandwidth
  • Our infrastructure is in a private datacenter in Madrid with redundant connectivity
  • We are willing to set up the private rsync daemon (port 874) for Tier 2 downstream mirrors and commit to being available during release staging/bitflip days

IPs to whitelist for dl-tier1.fedoraproject.org access:

  • IPv4: 91.132.103.246
  • IPv6: 2a12:d282:102:f6::1

We are ready to configure the dual rsyncd setup (public + private port 874) as soon as access to the *0 modules is granted.

How soon would you like this? We are in freeze for beta, so we would need a freeze break to add these now, or we could just wait until after beta.
