request for resources
Hi all,
I'd like to request the os-control01 storage be increased to 150-200gb.
I'm using it temporarily as a backups scratch space to temporarially hold forge.fp.o backups before copying over to the backup01 system. currently hitting errors running out of disk space as the forge has started to grow in size.
It will be a stop gap measure until I roll out the backups improvements currently being developed for the Forgejo dist-git staging instance.
Yeah, we can do this.
This will require a freeze break, or waiting until next wed.
If it means we have no up to date forge backups, I think it's worth doing asap, so I am +1 to a freeze break.
+1 FBR from me
So, it's already 200G.
I grew it to 400G
I assume staging is fine since there's a lot less data in staging?
Also, just note that backup01 is set to backup the /root/ocp4/openshift-apps/forgejo/backups/dump/ via rdiff-backup. You should not manually copy backups there. It messes up rdiff-backup. :) I moved the existing non rdiff-backup dir on backup01 to dump-20260914 and ran a rdiff-backup to setup the dir (it's still running, but hopefully finished soon)
Once the backups are in that dir it will back them up nightly.
Let me know if you need anything else here.
