Deadline: Soon™?

I am requesting a PR review on the last-remaining Datagrepper PR, PR 816. @sdglitched was working on this back in July and helped modernize the development environment from Fedora 38. It has low risk and impact; however, the CI tests are failing. Shounak asked for help to debug the failures since he could not reproduce them in his local environment.
