Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Description of request
We don't use qa-devel mailing list anymore (ticket), is it possible to archive it somehow? Not really delete it, but make it read-only - prevent any new subscriptions and sending out any emails. I've already updated the list summary to describe it as inactive. If you can, please archive it.
I also found autoqa-devel. Maybe it's already archived, maybe we just forgot about it - can you please also archive it if not already?
Thank you.
Yep. This is possible... basically you just set:
and then no posts should ever go to it.
I've done that for these lists already.
Thank you!
@kevin Unfortunately, as the list owner, I'm now getting "post requires approval" notifications due to spam posts:
Is there a way to handle this? Maybe completely drop all incoming mail? Or should I just define a custom filter to drop all "qa-devel-owner" emails my side?
Ah, I think I misremembered here. We don't want emerg moderation as that causes all the mails to go to you... I unset that.
Just rejecting them for both subscribers and non subscribers should do it I think.
I unset emerg moderation on both those lists now.
Please reopen if you still see requests...
