We want to upgrade nagios to nagios 3, and have noc01 be an EL6 box.

= reason =

= recommendation =

My thought was to do this like we did with nagios-external. Build a new host, set up nagios, zodbot, et al on the box, shut down the old noc01, rename the new one to noc01, with appropriate dns changes in place, fix iptables to be the new IP so that things using noc01 by IP still work (for example, noc02 needs to be able to talk to noc01/zodbot for nagios alerts).
