Translation error: "Bolți" -> "Seifuri" in Plasma Vault (Romanian) #76

Context: Plasma Desktop -> System Tray -> "Create encrypted vaults" / "No vaults configured"

Issue:
The English word "Vaults" (meaning a secure container for files) is incorrectly translated into Romanian as "Bolți" (which means architectural vaults/arches).

Current Translation:

  • Name: Bolți
  • Comment: Creează bolți criptate
  • Status: Nu a fost configurată nici o boltă

Suggested Correct Translation:

  • Name: Seifuri (or "Depozite criptate")
  • Comment: Creează seifuri criptate
  • Status: Nu a fost configurat niciun seif

Explanation:
In the context of file encryption and KDE Plasma, "Vault" refers to a secure container (like a safe), not an architectural structure. The correct Romanian term for this context is "Seif" or "Depozit criptat". Screenshot attached showing the error in the System Tray

Please update the translation in the Romanian locale files.

Additional Context:
I attempted to locate this translation string on the Fedora Weblate platform (translate.fedoraproject.org) under the Romanian language settings. However, I could not find a corresponding project for "plasma-vault" or the specific string "Bolți" in the public Weblate interface for Romanian translations.

I found the error directly in my installed Fedora KDE system (System Tray -> "Create encrypted vaults" / "No vaults configured").

This suggests that either:

  1. The "plasma-vault" project is not yet available for public translation on Weblate.
  2. The translation string is missing from the Fedora Weblate repository.
  3. The translation was committed locally but not synced to the public platform.

Please investigate if the "plasma-vault" project needs to be added to the Weblate translation workflow for Romanian, or if the string needs to be updated in the source code repository.

Fedora is a Linux Distribution, it means most of the translation you see are coming from projects that are not created/maintain by the Fedora community.
Here, plasma-vault is part of the KDE project.
KDE project is a bit challenging to contribute translations (bug report is a valuable contribution too), you should find some help here: https://l10n.kde.org/team-infos.php?teamcode=ro

Also, you can find the last translator in the file: https://github.com/KDE/plasma-vault/blob/master/po/ro/plasmavault-kde.po#L11
