Refresh the Fedora Mindshare Committee event request guidelines for 2026
and the migration to Forgejo.
Content changes
===============
* Migrate all issue template URLs from GitLab (`?issuable_template=`)
to Forgejo (`?template=.forgejo/issue_template/`) format.
* Replace stale GitLab `event-requests` repo links: swag requests now
point to the Mindshare Committee Tickets tracker, reimbursements now
`xref` the Fedora Reimbursement Requests (FRR) policy page.
* Update the Discourse tag URL in shared attributes to include the right
Fedora Discussion category with the tag.
* Document that approved tickets receive the `state/approved` label
instead of a freeform "approved message."
* Better explain what is considered a recognized vote by a Committee
member.
* Eliminate cross-links to the Advocate Program, which has not been
reviewed since 2018/2019.
* Provide accepted methods for how to share an event report, making it
more clear that only these methods are valid.
Antora partial restructuring
=============================
* Strip headers and anchors from all partials so they are plain reusable
text snippets. Headers and anchors now live in the event request pages
themselves, giving each page full control over its document hierarchy
and table of contents.
* Rename partial files to drop the `step0N-*` prefix, using descriptive
names only (e.g. `open-ticket-small-events.adoc`,
`committee-vote-medium-events.adoc`, etc.).
Props to @nmilosev for bringing attention to the outdated documentation
and @pbokoc for calling that this would happen some time back.

The F45 housekeeping meeting (mindshare/tickets#130) assigned each committee member to a charter area, but this was only recorded in a ticket comment. Adding leads directly to the responsibilities section makes ownership visible to the community and to new contributors looking for the right person to contact.
And yes, I did intentionally use `[U+2013]` symbols in this PR. 😉

The Mindshare Committee introduced charter areas in the previous term. Now, we have Forgejo labels (`charter/events`, `charter/recognition`, `charter/ambassadorship`) to triage work against any of the three charter areas.
The labels have also been retroactively applied across both the `mindshare/docs` and `mindshare/tickets` repositories. Without docs, new members and contributors have no reference for which labels to use or what the exclusive prefix groups mean. This page serves as the canonical reference so label usage stays consistent as the team grows.

The reimbursements page used fully-qualified component paths
(`mindshare-committee:ROOT:`) for pages that live in the events and
policy modules, not `ROOT`. These xrefs resolve to nothing in any
environment. Similarly, `teams.adoc` referenced a nonexistent
`mindshare.adoc` instead of the actual index page.

The Fedora Mindshare Committee election results were announced on
2026-06-13. Emma Kidney (@ekidney) and Sumantro Mukherjee (@sumantrom)
stepped back. Mat H. (@theprogram) and Samyak Jain (@jnsamyak) were
elected. Akashdeep Dhar (@t0xic0der) and Luis Bazan (@lbazan) won
another term. Greg Sutcliffe (@gwmngilfen) stepped back from Community
Ops Representative and Joseph Gayoso (@joseph) from Marketing Team
Representative; both seats are currently vacant.
Current members are now listed at the top of the main page so visitors
see the active roster first. Former members were moved to a dedicated
page (`former-members.adoc`) organized chronologically by Fedora release
cycle. The FCA role is presented as an ordered list reflecting the
succession from Bex to Marie Nordin to me.
Also updates stale references: issue tracker URL from GitLab to Forgejo,
fiscal year to CY26, and major version to F44.

📝 docs(ROOT): Address @jnsamyak review on former members page
Fix missing F40 election cycle: I think @ffmancera served F39 and F40,
not just F39. Also, add a NOTE admonition explaining the F43
restructuring from team-based appointed representatives to elected
Program Administrators with two appointed positions.

This commit reworks the Fedora Mindshare Committee documentation to
reflect the newly-approved structure that the charter already reflects.
This makes the Fedora Community Architect position the only persistent
role in the current formation of the Committee, allowing room for the
two appointed members (Marketing, CommOps) and the four elected roles,
published on Monday, 2 June 2025.
This commit updates the Fedora Mindshare Committee charter to reflect
the proposed revamp.
- Refocuses the Responsibilities section on Regional Event Support,
Recognition Service, and Digital Ambassadorship.
- Reorganizes and clarifies the descriptions of responsibilities within
each area.
- Updates the Composition section to reflect the new committee
structure, including Program Administrators, Marketing Team
Representative, and CommOps Representative.
- Provides concise summaries of the roles and duties of each committee
member.

This commit changes the information architecture of event-related
documentation in the Mindshare Committee docs site. Content was changed
minimally; most changes were to mention GitLab instead of Pagure or to
use Discourse/Matrix instead of mailing lists/IRC.
Additionally, the pages in this section now use attributes for several
links. In the event that a link changes in the future, it will be easier
to update URLs from a single place instead of several links becoming
outdated.
I chose to separate the events documentation into a new module because
it provides a greater degree of separation from other content published
in the Mindshare Committee documentation. It can exist as a more
independent part of our docs instead of getting grouped together with
Committee procedures, policies, and onboarding guidance for members.

This commit makes several mostly cosmetic changes to the AsciiDoc source
material for the Mindshare Committee documentation index page:
* Adhere to one-sentence-per-line convention
* Add header anchors to all anchors (easier to change the headers later
without breaking existing links)
* Update "FCAIC" to "FCA" and link to Council role page where applicable
* Minor styling and cosmetic changes
Additionally, the README was updated to better explain this repository's
purpose and how to build the documentation site in a local environment.

This commit is a bulk change to all files from the original state in
Pagure. Notably, this commit brings in updated versions of the build/
preview scripts, removes unnecessary files, and removes the starting
path for the documentation. Since this repository will only be used for
Mindshare docs and no other purpose, the docs will build from the root
directory.
No content was changed or edited, only moved.
