Event description(s) (2-4 sentences per event): Since their inception in 1999 the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage have gained a reputation of being the German FLOSS community event attracting more than 3000 visitors over a weekend in March. The event takes place at the faculty of computer science/information technology at the Chemnitz university of technology and countless volunteers make it happen. There are talks, demonstrations, live workshops, community projects and some companies who present themselves. The Fedora Project usually had a physical booth at Chemnitzer Linux-Tage each year since 2007 with the exception of mainly the years of COVID-19 pandemic.

Other needs: Aside of Fedora-branded swag, swag and swag, a Fedora poster (reusable) would be helpful and appreciated, because the still existing rollups from 2006 (also with the old Fedora logo) really reached their physical end of life. Regionally printed poster with size 60×90 cm is 31 EUR ≈ 33 USD). This is obviously not mandatory, but sending a (current) rollup across Germany or Europe using parcel services isn't a financial improvment either.

Are you a speaker or presenter? If yes, give the title and description of your presentation: Yes, "Internet-Messungen mit RIPE Atlas" (english: Internet measurements with RIPE Atlas). I'm not sure if the description matters, given it's not directly Fedora related: RIPE Atlas is a global and open measurement network with thousands of measurement probes that measure Internet connectivity in real time. It's provided, operated and developed by the RIPE NCC, the organisation managing IP address and AS numbers in Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia. The measurement probes themselves are Open Source Software and can be operated by interested parties and volunteers, even on a home internet connection. Being interested in Internet routing and security (e.g. BGP, RPKI/ROA) and with my capability as packager, I supported their development of the current software probe generation for Enterprise Linux 9 (CentOS Stream and RHEL). As mentioned before, it's not really Fedora related, but you just asked if I'm a speaker ;-)
Are you an organizer or volunteer? If yes, explain your role: No
Why is it a good idea for the Fedora Project to have a presence?: Because it's one of the FLOSS community events in Germany (the other one is FrOSCon from my point of view), where mainly users, but also developers, from all over Germany come together. The event targets users, not developers, but users can become developers or contributors over time. Usually all common/large Linux distribution communities attend the event with a booth, while it might be not a good argument. Visitors are looking for somebody to talk about Fedora in person and to raise their questions they might not raise online. Aside of this, people are also even looking for a Fedora booth (see next section for details).
Why do you want to represent the Fedora community here?: Because I really enjoy this event, the people there and I like to help them with all the questions and issues they come up with - and I'm a Fedora ambassador. I wouldn't drive 2x 450 km by car (2x ~5 hours plus traffic jams) about each year if the event wouldn't be worth it. And I'm attending the event, with or without a Fedora booth. When I attended in 2023 and 2024 as a regular visitor without a Fedora booth (unfortunately not enough Fedora people, due to different reasons, to cover the organiser's requirements for a booth), I was really asked often in both years why there is no Fedora booth and whether there will be one again.

Voting usually starts very quickly. The ticket needs to get 3 +1s and no -1s in eleven days. When this happens, a committee member will update the ticket with an approved message. If all committee members vote sooner, the ticket can be approved sooner. The goal of the eleven day period is to ensure that we have at least one meeting during the discussion period (allowing for holidays, etc.).

Unfortunately, only one Fedora Mindshare Committee member voted in the 11 days after this ticket was opened. What does that now mean practically? Does the Fedora Mindshare Committee not want to see the Fedora Project represented with a booth at the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage? It would be disappointing given the time for the plannings and preparations so far and especially since from my point of view the current situation is caused by a lack of votes, not by -1s.

If this incomplete voting result nevertheless expresses a rejection, it would be good to know this explicitly, because then I have to quickly cancel Fedora's participation at the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage so that perhaps another community project can take this place.

Yes, the estimated 31 EUR were calculated for getting https://gitlab.com/fedora/design/team/event-kit/-/tree/main/StandUpBanners printed as a poster as shipping a stand-up banner across Europe most likely isn't cheap either (especially when sending it back and forth, possibly under time pressure because of the next event; like for the table cloth some years ago). Nevertheless, I'm open for better options and suggestions (nothing sent to printing yet!), just let me know.

The organizer provides us with three pop-up walls: One white one for the projector, one transparent one filled with the poster by the organizer, and one transparent one was planned for the mentioned poster to be printed - alternatively we can hide the pop-up wall using a stand-up banner (that's what we did with the old roll-up banner from 2006 like in the picture linked somewhere above).

Not to forget that giveaway swag like pens, stickers, pins or whatever exists with a Fedora logo would be helpful :)

Given the time the printing company needs including shipping (at least one parcel service strikes), the window for in-time arrival closes soon, thus I'll send it to printing tonight (European time) if I don't hear otherwise...I don't want to arrive at the event location with no poster or banner at all.
