Summary

There is currently no start/stop test module for KDebugSettings in the KDE application test suite.

Application Details

  • Application: KDebugSettings
  • Purpose: Configuration of KDE debug logging output, primarily used for diagnostics and development.
  • Expected module name: tests/applications/kdebugsettings.pm
  • Launch method (Alt+Super): Type KDebugSettings or debug

What needs to be done

Create a new test module that:

  1. Launches KDebugSettings from the KDE menu (using Alt+Super and typing KDebugSettings or debug)
  2. Asserts that the application window appears
  3. Closes the application cleanly
  4. Verifies the application has exited
