Summary

There is currently no start/stop test module for KDE Connect in the KDE application test suite.

Application Details

  • Application: KDE Connect
  • Purpose: Integration of a computer with a phone: notifications, file sharing, clipboard sync, and media control.
  • Expected module name: tests/applications/kdeconnect.pm
  • Launch method (Alt+Super): Type KDE Connect

What needs to be done

Create a new test module that:

  1. Launches KDE Connect from the KDE menu (using Alt+Super and typing KDE Connect)
  2. Asserts that the application window appears
  3. Closes the application cleanly
  4. Verifies the application has exited
