This tracks regular maintenance work performed by Fedora Quality members outside of the regular Fedora Branched release validation cycle. Usually that means catering to stable Fedora releases or Rawhide. Example tasks:

  • Testing proposed updates in updates-testing and submitting feedback to Bodhi
  • Responding to community issues/reports/questions in various community channels (Matrix, Discussion, mailing lists)
  • Reporting any new bugs found
  • Responding to existing bug updates, e.g. by providing more testing, verifying patches, etc
  • Responding to newly proposed Common Issues

Main focus was Fedora 45 Beta 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 quality. Automated cloud testing, Issuebot production, community involvement and upstream collaboration.

Period: August 7 to September 7, 2026 - Reported 17 new Fedora bugs and added 27 comments across 19 bugs. [Search the 17 reported bugs in Bugzilla](https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=ALL%20reporter%3Apsklenar%20creation_ts%3E%3D2026-08-07%20creation_ts%3C%3D2026-09-07) - Found a regression affecting systemd service-file permissions in many Fedora packages. He identified the root cause and reported affected packages.
