This is a process ticket to account for the ongoing task of openQA test failure monitoring and assessment in the agile/scrum process. We will create a ticket like this for each sprint. The ticket can potentially be used for co-ordination if that seems useful.

* [plasma-workspace update changed deps and caused system menus to break](https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2437944), figured out the [fix](https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/plasma-desktop/pull-request/8). openQA correctly caught this and gated the plasma-workspace updates, but the maintainer [waived the failures](https://waiverdb.fedoraproject.org/api/v1.0/waivers/?subject_identifier=FEDORA-2026-0a7060c4ae), so this polluted all other updates until I could figure it out, and needed a bunch of failures to be retried once I got the fixed updates out * F44 scratch build we were using to workaround the [cockpit / PackageKit-dnf5 incompatibility](https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/pull/22800) and [timespec issue](https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/pull/22828) expired so suddenly cockpit update tests were failing again on F44, did a [new scratch build](https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=142129269), pinged Martin Pitt to ask when there'll be a new release with the fixes * base_services_start test started failing due to tuned-ppd service failing to start, figured out it was [caused by pygobject3 in the GNOME 50 update](https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2437484#c3), Benjamin Berg and Tomas Popela took it from there and fixed it * aarch64 workstation tests on updates are failing a lot on F44 (with GNOME 50), seems like clicking things in the overview just doesn't always work. Haven't figured out the cause yet, [bumped retry count to 5 to work around it](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/quality/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/commit/782e5ca08517f9add9a227d19b06af3fde82abaf) * noticed again that realmd_join_cockpit_ad seems to fail quite often in _advisory_post because tty3 doesn't work, tried bumping a timeout but it didn't help, now seeing if [using tty4 instead does](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/quality/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/commit/e57ae7fb68d6cc62a1959a33ba8ec1c1b808f1ce) * working on updating needles for compose-only tests for GNOME 50 changes
