Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The conmon (container monitor) is low-level binary used by Podman to manage the container life-cycle and logging. We are working on new version of this binary called conmon-v3.
I would like to organize Fedora test day to test it before we later switch to it by default.
Goal of test day: Switch from default conmon-v2 to conmon-v3 (already packaged in Fedora) and test running podman with it.
Date: from 2026-10-05 to 2026-10-11
What to test:
I will ensure the right conmon-v3 version is in all active Fedora releases before that date.
I can write article similar to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2026-05-11_Podman_6.0 - we mainly need to include a step there to enable conmon-v3 as described in https://github.com/containers/conmon-v3#run-podman-with-conmon-v3 (the copr steps will be skipped for test day, since we will test fedora RPMs)

I have created the wiki page and test cases for the upcoming test day. Please review the Podman version, installation steps, and package NVRs:
wiki page:

https://github.com/containers/conmon-v3/issues or? fedora bugzilla?
test cases:

I just copied from last test day
Promoting the Test Day:
We had low attendance during the last Podman test day (possibly because it was early in the Fedora phase, or for other reasons).
Any ideas on how to promote this upcoming test day? like podman upstream ?
We can write a post for the Fedora Community Blog and/or Fedora Magazine highlighting the new features
^^ if yes - we should write both within this week.
I will also send an email to the Fedora test mailing list.
After chat with @jkaluza : The test day is postponed by one week to allow time for adjustments to a Podman PR.
wiki moved + time adjusted:

also please review comments above
Petr, please don't forget to create a calendar entry, thanks
I would like to to wait for @jkaluza and his approval.
The fedoramagazine entry and dates look OK. I will edit few details in https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2026-10-12_Podman_Conmon-v3, but nothing game changing.
calendar created https://calendar.fedoraproject.org/QA/2026/10/12/

@jkaluza I have added testcase about conmon : https://testdays.fedoraproject.org/testday/29
please check the rest of test cases, what to remove , what to add ?
