Hello Rel-eng team,
As confirmed by the previous Robotics spin maintainer @lrossett in https://forge.fedoraproject.org/releng/tickets/issues, the Robotics spin can be dropped from F45 release.
Please let me or Leo know if there is anything more you need.
Okay, so I've prepared three pull requests to drop the Robotics Spin from Fedora Linux 45 as requested:
1. kiwi-descriptions: releng/kiwi-descriptions#288
2. pungi-fedora: releng/pungi-fedora#1671
3. fedora-comps: releng/fedora-comps#1306
All changes target the F45 release and remove all references to the Robotics Spin from the build
configuration. The PRs are ready for review.
These repositories came to mind. If I missed something obvious, please let me know. I think
it should be better if we merge them sequentially.
@amoloney, btw I think you pasted a wrong link, is there a fesco or any other ticket related to that?
This is the correct link 😸 https://pagure.io/fedora-pgm/schedule/issue/272
I think that with the next compose onwards, we will not have robotics spin in rawhide. Should we also send an email or a discussion post about it?
Closing this as done, in case there are any other issues please let me know.
