Describe the issue

Please untag freeipa-4.13.3-1.fc46. It contains a serious bug which breaks upgrades, but the maintainer incorrectly believed the failure just meant that there were new SELinux denials and waived it. Now all subsequent Rawhide updates are failing the same test.

When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

ASAP

When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

When a fixed update is issued

If we cannot complete this, what is the impact? [Dependencies/Blocker]

All Rawhide updates will fail the FreeIPA upgrade test and be gated

Checklist

  • I have checked existing issues for duplicates
  • I have filled out all the fields above
  • I have provided relevant links or references (if applicable)

well, technically speaking, it's the 4.13.2 builds that contain the bug. But it is 'activated' by 4.13.3 builds. We need to do 4.13.6 builds or some kind of chicanery to resolve the issue.

Done. Does this also need untagging from eln?

Presumably, but still waiting for its update batch to get merged first. (Trying to untag it now will just confuse EBS.)

I didn't see an ELN build when I checked. But yeah, anywhere 4.13.2 has gone stable, we need to not send 4.13.3 until ab decides how he wants to fix this.
