General availability announcement email sent to devel-announce mailing list, seems like by me and Kevin both, accidentally.

Yeah, I didn't think anyone else was doing it... we have been coordinating in #release-day:fedoraproject.org matrix channel.
In particular the links change from /?beta to /beta (to work with non javascript) and we added Atomic Desktops...

So, I don't know if we should ack yours or adjust it for those first?

I also only sent to announce list... I could just resend to devel-announce I guess?

@patrikp Like Kevin said, I'm trying to update those links to be a little more friendly to the non-JavaScript people. Did you get those links from a template somewhere? They should be updated (and Atomic Desktops should be added).

Feel free to handle it any way you see fit, re-sending yours to devel-announce works for sure.

So I copied it from the F44 Beta announcement (which I found in the archive) but I'm currently in the process of updating the SOP we have and would like to put the template there. Maybe we can agree on the template here and I can add it to the docs for future use so that it can be copied easily and with correct URLs?

Thanks @patrikp. I think the version that was sent to the Announce list this time around was pretty good. The links were correct. The only thing I might change would be to list Atomic Desktops above/before the Spins and Labs.

https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/announce@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/FTPOQ3H47Y2MCHFVJ5C7P5CO25GDTJV3/

For the ordering of things, I'd use the same order that is shown on the fedoraproject.org home page -- Workstation, then KDE Plasma, etc.

Oh, it might be good to add the following link:

https://fedoraproject.org/torrents/

As long as you leave the version number off the end of that link, it should redirect to the current release.

Along with the torrents link, you might mention that the mirrors are sometimes a little slow to pick up the new releases, but the torrents should always be available immediately. That last bit is up to you, but it seems like we get people pointing out that the mirrors haven't sync'd yet every time around.
