We just went through a GA release. What went well? What didn't go well? Add your issues to this ticket and let's discuss ways to fix them in our next WG meeting.

From my perspective, a couple things went well:

Mostly folks were very responsive to bugs, especially some last-minute issues that threatened the release (e.g. pesky gjs/tracker stuff).
Good uptake on getting things sorted with Workstation content throughout the cycle

A couple things that need improvement:

No one put together a "What's New in F26 Workstation" article for the Magazine. Ryan and I have been doing this in the past but we weren't cued this time and missed it. Would be nice to fix with some sort of scheduled reminder. I can talk to @jkurik about that.
The gnome-software background currently is just flat blue, hopefully remedied soon. It would be ideal to figure out a way to automate this so as not to need manual reminding/building/etc. Maybe this could be done with packaging an absolute symlink?

If there will be a reminder at the day of Beta release to start working on the article, and one more reminder to complete the article sent one week before planned Final GA date, does it fulfil the expectations ?
