My term as Working Group chair is ending with the release of Fedora 44. So far, there are zero volunteers to replace me as chair despite several calls for a volunteer. Since nobody wants to serve as chair, we will need to establish a rotation.
My suggestion is to rotate on a monthly basis, like we do for secretary duty.
I won't be here for the next meeting, but I like the idea.
This proposal is approved. We will start rotating down our members list.
@mclasen would be first up after myself, but he mentioned that next month does not work well for him. @aday you are next after Matthias. Are you OK with serving as chair for the month of May?
Then we can simply go down the list. We might need to do some trading.
I will not be able to do May or June, but might be able to do July or August.
I'm extremely reluctant to take this on, but there's nothing special about May in terms of my availability.
Probably best to just handle May to get it out of the way, then. Or you could trade your month with somebody else if you prefer.
April 28 will be the last meeting that I chair, so please plan to either handle May 5 through May 26, or find somebody else to do so.
